How many different files can I upload along with a question?

 

You can upload up to 4 images audio files or video files with your question. These can be any combination of 4 that you wish.

 

How do I change the thumbnail that is displayed with my question?

 

The thumbnail is randomly taken from the first piece of media that you upload with your question. Keep in mind that at this time you cannot choose to capture a thumbnail of the 2nd 3rd or 4th piece of media you upload. It is suggested that the first piece of media that you upload be the most relevant for your question as it will be the default media that loads on your question page.

 

Can I add additional media to a question after it has been published?

 

At this time you cannot alter your question or add anything addtional media to it once it has been published on the site. We recommend that you use the "Preview" function on the Create Question / Ask page. Clicking this will take you to a preview of how your question will appear on the site. Once you are satisfied with it , you can choose to "Publish" the question. It will then appear on the homepage under "Latest Questions"

 

How do I delete a question I have posted on the site?

 

To delete a question you have posted you will need to send us the url of the page on which it appears along with your email address you have used to register on the site. Simply go to our contact page and enter in the subject line "Remove Question". In the message area simply enter the Url of the question you wish to have removed, along with you email address in your scoozme account that was used to upload that question.

 

Can I change my username?

 

Once you have signed up under a certain username, you cannot change it. If you wish to use a different name you will have to create a new user account through the "Join" page under your new name and supply a unique email address for it.

 

Why don't I see the "responses" and "views" count increasing on the homepage thumbnail modules?

 

To increase the speed of the site we use caching, which means that the statistics for "views" and "responses" on questions do not show up in realtime on the homepage. There is a delay between when you post a new response on a question and when the response count increases to reflect that. The same delay happens when you view a question page. Caching like this allows us to keep the site running faster for you.

 

How does the "Points" system work on scoozme?

 

We award points for carrying out various tasks on scoozme. These points are aimed at rewarding your loyalty and contributions to the site. We are currently still working on the points system, at the moment it works as follows:

 

• Logging into scoozme per day (1 Point)
• Posting a question on scoozme (5 Points)
• Posting a response to someone elses question (5 Points)
• Rating another person's response (1 Point)

 

 

How does a question become "Featured" on the top of the page?

 

In the current Beta version, we select  the Featured Question at the top of the page randomly. This may change in the future.

 

What if I see something offensive on the site?

 

You can choose to "Flag as Inappropriate" any question which appears on the site. You may also "Flag as Offensive" any response which shows up on a question. We recommend you go to your profile settings page and under "Inappropriate Content"

select the option to "Hide" .
