Well there is an established process that we go through every time we select a new president ...from actually selecting the nominees...which is lengthy as it is. Then having the whole campaigning process that the selected candidates go through up to the actual election.

I agree it takes far too long. It perhaps has something to do with the large number of states we have, and the need to cover so many people across so much area requires time.

I'm sure a political science academic will have some more complex thoughts on it.

Agrree they need to up the action sequences more. It's always been heavier on story from the beginning. I think that's just what they wanted.
The fickle viewing audience will grow tired of it eventually and they will need to make more action sequences to keep interest.

Sorry I strayed off the question a bit, but I haven't seen the simpsons episode you're talking about so I can't comment on that sorry.

Don't recognize the lyrics as such but there's a really obscure song called "queen of the barbeque" by the hickoids which is way out of the mainstream. Not sure if thats what you're thinking of though.

The current Toyota Prius is not fully electric alone. It's battery gets charged from the small gasoline engine onboard.
So basically as long as you have gas you can drive it.

For the current prius model( up until 2008) I have seen a site which quotes an average mileage of 45 per gallon. That works out at 600miles in range.

The 2010 model coming out has expected figures of around 89mpg!

I agree with you on the looks Steve. The original is so bland.but people dont seem to mind. The folks who by these are more concerned with fuel mileage than looks i guess.

The 2010 Prius looks much better though. Even the fact that the wheels just look slightly bigger makes all the difference.

Money no object, and no kids to move around...you couldn't go past the all electric Tesla though.
