I think that you may find that the NAZI sign is not in fact that at all, if you look closely at the two side by side the NAZI one has the ARMS of the Swastika going in a different direction. The swastika has been used in many ancient cultures. The Second Jungle book has been reprinted many times and was last reprinted in hardcover in 1995, by McMillans and is still available on line. The Second Jungle was first printed in 1895, so your edition will be a reprint and it should say so on the first pages of the book. Although not an original print if it is a sound condition it may be of some value to collectors who like to collect all the reprints.

You will find a lot more in the above thread.

Puck of Pooks was first printed in 1906 so you will have a reprint there as well.

If you dont need the money dont sell the books, keep them in the family as heirlooms.

I know that Kipling used to have the "swastika" symbol next to his name on some books. It's actually a symbol that has been used well before the Nazi's came along. He derived it from the symbol used in India for luck and well being.

After the Nazi's adopted the symbol he stopped using it in future editions.

I can't give you an estimate on the value of the books, but they will certainly be worth more than the later era prints that were without the "swastika".
