When are they going to reboot MacGyver

I was thinking if they can bring back Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, then surely they can bring back MacGyver.
What does everyone think about this idea? Or is Richard Dean Anderson going to be too old.
I'm seriously surprised they haven't brought back such a legendary TV show or made a movie yet.

Ok here's the latest regarding a MacGYver movie..seems like it's on the cards now. Of course you haev to do it with Richard Dean Anderson of else it will suck.

I saw Mythbusters do an episode on MacGyver stuff like the ultralight he built out of stuff to escape the bad guys. Needless to say it didn't fly too well.

Selma and Patty from the Simpsons would love this idea.
MacGyver was looking pretty old last time I saw him in Stargate SG1. They couldn't bring him back, they need a younger guy who can also build a surface to air missle out of a pvc pipe and some fire starters :)

ARRR MacGyver so many great memories, one of my real favorite all time tv shows.
I don't think you could bring back Richard though.
I'd say it's only a matter of time before they remake the tv show though.
